We are back. The Peru trip was so so nice. Thanks so much in arranging all the details, the tours, the pick up, the transportations… all were so well done.
We enjoyed visiting every single place so much. Machu Picchu was magnificient. Pisac ruin was impressive. Thanks for specifying it in the voucher. The tour guide almost missed it.
Just one little detour…we couldn’t make it for the train ride from Cusco to Puno. There was a strike in a town that made Perurail to cancel the train.
We were so disappointed that we missed the beautiful scenic train ride but we understood the situation.
The contact in Cusco was good. She arranged the alternate bus ride for us. . It was a 14 hrs bus ride and had to take some dirt roads so as to avoid the strike.
The driver drove very carefully. Though it was a very long and no fun ride, we appreciated the alternate arrangement and the effort that the tour put in so that we could still visit Puno under the circumstance and we arrived safely. Thanks so much!
