I booked a solo trip with Best Peru Tours in early April. I am a female in my 50’s and I was a bit nervous about traveling alone, esp. since I don’t speak Spanish and had never been to South America. From the moment I arrived in Lima at 5 a.m., there was a friendly guide to welcome me and make sure I knew where I was going every step of the way. It was the best of both worlds, to have the freedom to explore but knowing all of the details had been taken care of. And Peru was fabulous, freindly, and fascinating!! I visited Lima, Cuzco, Sacred Valley (AMAZING lodging at Villa Urabamba!!), and of course Machu Picchu. I stayed overnight and climbed Wayna Picchu at 7 a.m. Lots of great pictures and happy stories to tell. I can’t wait to go back with my husband.
