Joyce, Our trip was all we hoped it would be. Gayle and I enjoyed the country and the people. Machu Pichu was interesting and worth the effort.
The arrangements you made were handled efficiently by your people in each location. I felt each person we dealt with wanted to be sure we understood our program and help us have a good time. I was pleasantly surprised everything was coordinated and worked so well.
The extra things you suggested added to our trip enjoyment. The extra night in the Sacred Valley was a nice break. The VistaDome train was comfortable and a nice ride. The extra day at Machu Pichu gave me the opportunity to make a second visit and go to the top of Waynapichu. The trip up Waynapichu and the views were spectacular.
Puno and the floating islands were interesting. Our best guide was Norma in Puno, she knew her subject and guided us through Sillustani and the countryside with a positive attitude and great caring for her country.
Thanks for your assistance.
If my daughter can get the time off I would like to walk the Inca Trail, maybe nest year.
