David,

Thank you very much for your help. As for some brief impressions of the trip, I will say:

Your transfer people and guides were very pleasant and competent, particularly Jorge who met us in Lima, and helped us deal with the cancellation of our first flight to Cusco and with getting Claro cell phone cards to work.

The Casa Andinas hotel in Cusco was satisfactory, while those in Lima and Puno were not as satisfactory. The service people in the hotel in Cusco were especially helpful. The Casa Andinas hotel in Lima was very modest, and that in Puno was next to a school and was very noisy during the day. The five-star hotels in Ollantaytambo and Arequipa were very satisfactory, however, and we wished we could have stayed longer in them. The El Mapi Hotel in Machu Picchu was also very nice, and new, and the staff was very accommodating.

We did kayak on the Lake and saw some nice scenery in the area of Llachon. However, Puno and Juliaca are not nearly as pleasant as Cusco and Arequipa and we would have preferred to have had more time in the latter cities.

I was very happy to have visited the Reserva Park and its fountains, as well as LarcoMar in Lima, and we also had a very pleasant walk around Miraflores. I wish we had had more time for shopping there, as it is a good shopping area and we did not shop much elsewhere in Peru.

Thanks again for your help with this trip,

Jeffrey
